Felvidek Game Overview
Felvidek (file size: 700 MB), developed by Jozef Pavelka, came out on 30 Mar, 2024. It’s a short, hand-drawn turn-based RPG set in a strange version of the Slovak Highlands. You play as a knight named Pavol, who’s dealing with some alcohol problems while the world around him falls apart. Things aren’t looking great—there are Hussite raiders, Ottoman spies, and even weird monsters creeping out from the shadows.
As you play you’ll walk through detailed painted locations like castles villages and dark dungeons. There are hidden rooms secret paths and a bunch of strange characters to meet. Some are friendly, others… not so much. The whole game can be finished in about 3 to 4 hours, so it’s not a huge time investment, but it still manages to pack in a lot of story, atmosphere, and weirdness in that short time.
Combat is turn-based, so you’ll need to think before you act. You’ll collect weapons, gear, and supplies as you go, and choose the best way to deal with each enemy. The game also has a dark tone with some strong language and visuals so it’s aimed more at mature players. If you’re into short RPGs with a unique art style and a creepy, slightly funny vibe, Felvidek is definitely something to check out.
