Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is the latest entry in a long-running saga following an alien lombax, Ratchet, and his robotic pal Clank He does the same thing with Dr. Nefarious, an ongoing villain who they have been stopping from destroying Earth and galaxy in general for many years But then there was this day when one of them self decided to use am imperfect meter for generating wormholes and the heroes tried to stop him, though are sucked into a different reality instead. In a different dimension, Nefarious catches the galaxy in his clutches and it is now up for Ratchet and Clank to join with local resistance fighters (the alternate version of Galactic Rangers) to thwart the madman.
Ratchet is a member of the Lombax race, an alien species. He was nothing more than a regular old mechanic with his single destined moment to save the universe. He is a very sweet, courageous, and less competitive person. A little robot friend of the Lombax, Clank. He rides on the back, like a backpack in moments of peace.
Nefarious is one of the primary antagonists in this series. He, too, started his story as just some run-of-the-mill alien evil scientist but suffered an accident that rendered him into a robot. Therefore, Nefarious went mad and resolved to erase all organic beings in the universe. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart — 2 versions The first is a main-series villain of the more classic sort. The other was the emperor of another world. Rivet is a brand new character, a female Lombax. She is the leader of one group fighting Emperor Nefarious and an ally to Ratchet & Clank.
