You play as Gordon, a handyman sent to check out the broadcast tower and shut it down. But as soon as you step inside the old studio, things get real strange. You’re not just fixing wires here — you’ll be dodging puppet attacks, solving puzzles, and trying to stay alive while figuring out what happened behind the scenes. The once-friendly faces are now out for blood (or stuffing), and they don’t always stay down after you knock them out. With clever level design, a helpful map, and some very unique weapons (like one that shoots alphabet letters), you’ll need brains and bravery to make it through.
Unlike many horror games this one doesn’t rely on gore to scare you. You’ll explore colorful cardboard hallways, behind-the-scenes workshops, and all sorts of quirky environments that look like they were built for a kids’ show — but feel way more threatening. There’s even a post-game mode called Neighborhorde if you’re looking for an extra challenge after the main story. So if you’re a horror fan who wants something spooky but fun, My Friendly Neighborhood is well worth a visit — just watch out for the puppets.
