He wakes up in the hospital, physically okay, but with no memory of who he is. While trying to remember anything from his past, a strong memory from his childhood about 16 years ago comes back to him. It takes place during Japan’s Showa period. The memory feels both nostalgic and a small creepy. From there Masao decides to follow these memories and try to figure out who he really is and what he forgotten.
The amusement may be a blend of secret and light frightfulness. It’s not too long takes about 2 to 5 hours to finish and it has 4 different endings, depending on the choices you make. It recommended for players age 12 and up. The story is deep but easy to follow, and it slowly builds a kind of quiet, emotional feeling as you go. Even though 6Days is its own complete story, it does include some references to another game called “Reward-Retribution.” You don’t need to play that one first, but it can give you more context if you’re curious about the bigger story.
