Adr1ft Game Overview
ADR1FT – introduces a feeling of weightlessness in the game to tell the story of an astronaut who woke up on his own out there and has no idea how it happened, only knowing that he needs to survive and find a way back home. The protagonist is a girl astronaut from Northstar IV, model Alex Oshima who became trapped. Fall 2037 (Tabitha Action!) If she had a space station, it has since broken into many pieces.
All locations in Adr1ft, are stylized as outer space itself, spaces around which scattered parts of mechanisms and rooms are connected by broken passages that wax on mazes through which we move. A spacesuit propels the movement with air, and each motion requires oxygen. Air has to be replenished in time and continuously with the scattered tanks or filling devices around the area.
The run will not be quick or fast. Such encounters wear down your suit, so you need to be careful when controlling that thing. It is fixed by repair facilities, but they are even scarce. The story is told through voice recorders, crew cards clipped to the ceiling for zero-g, and records in the on-board computer. You need to fix all the broken systems that are on its most distant corners if you want to leave this station in a rescue capsule.
