His best friend, who has recently joined the literature club, convinces him to join as well, as the club is just one member short of a full group. Reluctantly, he agrees to join, finding himself surrounded by a group of charming girls. Its club’s activities mainly revolve around writing poems, which the protagonist struggles with.
It’s important to note that the second half of Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! takes a dark and unexpected turn. Its game is not for those seeking a typical dating simulator, as it delves into themes of violence, cruelty, or psychological horror, which can be quite unsettling as the story progresses.
