You start out in a small fighter ship, but as you level up, you’ll unlock bigger ones eventually flying massive battleships packed with weapons and gear.

The game is all about finding gear that fits your playstyle upgrading your ship and building your perfect loadout. There are lots of weapons lasers missiles turrets drones and you can customize your ship design too like where the weapons go or what the ship looks like. Each run is different because the space sectors are randomly generated, and you’ll deal with different hazards like heat zones, corrosion, and surprise enemy ambushes. You get to decide if you want to rush to the boss or take your time exploring and leveling up. Either way, danger’s always around the corner.

As you explore you jump into random fights rescue other pilots take down enemy groups and fight big bosses. Different enemies and factions need different strategies for example, you need heat resistance against fire-based enemies or anti-corrosion gear against others. There’s a big upgrade tree, tons of weapon and ship part options, and multiple difficulty levels (including Hardcore if you want a real challenge). The game supports all kinds of control setups including keyboard controller and Steam Deck and the dev put a lot of care into accessibility.
