Threefold Recital – an oriental fantasy game where the metropolis of Blue scales is at the threshold of a change. The plot of Threefold Recital revolves around three main characters, each with their own abilities creating distinct but intertwined narratives. Triratna, a wolf-turned-monk, is able to see and cut these karmic lines, bending the threads of cause and effect. Taiqing, a priest who was at one time a fox, studies arcane spells and substance transmutation in the ancient arts of Taoism, which lets him change the material world.

Transia, a snake whose talent as an artist allows her to enter paintings and alter how they look,provides the trio with a skill that is creative but also useful. All the characters have unique abilities and come together to explore a greater mystery that endangers the world itself. The gameplay encourages players to alternate between these characters – piecing together their paths through a network of elaborate puzzles and obstacles. As the protagonists learn more about the burgeoning conspiracy, their stories slowly meshed revealing an overarching story that needs their combined abilities to solve.
