Sons of The Forest is an indie continuation to a cult horror story—The action takes place in an unspecified future where, for unknown reasons, a variety of terrible monsters roam the Earth. The human race lives in hiding and survives by the grace of guile because now monsters consume them. Victims have gone deep, and only a fool or desperate hero would dare to fight this menace above ground. The hero is a commonplace soldier who was taken into secret Service. The main protagonist is tasked to do something, yet the task cannot be completed due situation. After a helicopter carrying the squad crashes, they are stranded in a dark forest where mutants lurk. Our fighter must abandon the idea of fulfilling his mission and survive, given that terrible conditions are ahead.
The protagonist is the only man left standing so there’s none remaining for him to call; There was no damage caused to weapons or equipment but they have only limited ammunition. Manufactured cartridges are an expensive resource and they should be considered only for emergency use. The hero will be somewhere in the woods and collecting them. The item you will find will be of great help as an invaluable companion in the soldier, which not only helps but even results in saving his life. The forest is populated with different kinds of enemies that you will face. For some of those, the gamer does not handle very well and has to flee. There is also a bit of horror added: monsters will jump on you from every corner undermining your nerves.
