This asteroid, which contains all sorts of metals and much ice, interests the world for an even more valuable product than those presented here: the so-called “Galiorb”, the basis for all electronic appliances; we’ll find it with devices like microchips or batteries.
Sadly, the inside of the rock is incredibly radioactive, with no human standing for more than a few seconds on its surface. The sole way to extract the coveted Galiorb is to build a station in the void far enough from the asteroid to deploy mining drones during short intervals until they start melting their circuits. This is how the ‘Stellar Station’ project wants engineers to engineer and build the station and make it ready for human habitation and working of its different modules.
