There are ten rivals in total from the sporty Asu Rito to the overprotective Hanako Yamada each with their personality and schedule. As Ayano eliminates more of them, her mental state begins to break down, and that starts to affect how the game feels. The colors fade, the music turns eerie, and everything starts to feel cold and empty, mirroring Ayano’s descent into madness.
