Zoochosis Game Overview
Zoochosis is a nightshift body-camera horror about being a zookeeper As you arrive at the zoo, it is apparent that some of the animals have become infected and are mutating into these deformed mutants. The player has to locate the infected animals, move around in enclosures, and plan how a vaccine should be made. In addition, a search to rescue the animals turns out to be like self-therapy.
Remember that what you do will have a tool on the outcome of the game, as Zoochosis requires interaction with the animals. The player may be required to feed, clean or otherwise attend to the animals — serving as a demonstration of what it feels like for zookeepers on duty in caring for their animals. All of this fleshes out the gameplay, between tending to animals that will not shit all over their own space and unraveling a scooby-doo-like mystery it makes for an interesting mix of survival/discovery.
Every choice made throughout the story changes its outcome, in both wanting you to die and saving yourself from becoming one of these animals. Decisions need to be made quickly & with thought, and the consequences are quite heavy. Since the decision is based on a variety of outcomes, gamers are forced to go back and play it again at another level.
