In Animallica, an epidemic has wiped out nearly all life on the planet, leaving only a few survivors, mostly those who stayed indoors or were trapped. So Its protagonist finally finds an escape and must now fight to survive while helping other creatures like himself. At the beginning of the game, you start with almost nothing. As with any good survival game, your first goal is to find a place to call home whether that’s a small hut or a larger shelter. You’ll also need to find clean water, as radiation makes any random water source unsafe. Then, you will gather food or learn how to craft useful items. Along your journey/adventure, you’ll heal, feed, and tame animals, like creating your little zoo. Nature, though damaged, still offers its beauty: deserts with scorching sand, snow-covered mountains, and lush savannahs. Then, there are moments when these peaceful gardens make you pause or take in the breathtaking scenery.
So You can explore/find the world by walking across different locations, traveling deep into regions on horseback, or even soaring through the skies in a hot air balloon to reach new areas and progress in your mission.
For players who aren’t fond of wandering, Animallica offers the option to build a community and craft items that will help restore the local wildlife. So It’s also helpful to trade with others, as you may need rare resources from different regions. The game doesn’t follow a set storyline or instead focuses on individual choices, offering a more open-ended experience/talent.
