Metal Slug Tactics Game Overview
Metal Slug Tactics is a little sidestep from the time-honored series of arcade and home console games. The bulk of this franchise were to run-and-gun games. And a spin-off — this is a tactical game with RPG and roguelike elements in the setting. An isometric view rather than a side view is used, which sets it apart from its predecessors. But that is not without signature pixel flair. Moreover, full engineering screensavers have been attached to it. The plot retraces General Morden’s story and features his squad, Sapsan. Only this time, the villain managed to amass an army omnipotent in nature, unseated a nation, and then took bloody reparations on everyone else.
In Metal Slug Tactics, players will be able to collect summon and fight alongside some of the fan-favorite characters from the series. Here’s Marco, Eri, and Fio with a couple of Tarma & pals. Fighting against familiar soldiers, enemy equipment, and already iconic bosses. Combatants slowly populate the on-screen Adrenaline meter, which enables high-damage Super attacks. Over time your team members will level up and unlock new weapons, etc. They may even combine attacks with one another to attack a single target simultaneously. Alongside this, there’s a chance to bring the series’ party piece into play — the special tanks called Slugs that you take control of on occasion. Each mission can be replayed as many times as you want to see how each unit works and grind enough experience for them to grow your own little army.
